Over the last 52-weeks, shares of the motor company have moved between Sh8 and Sh13.50.

But in the absence of apparent development, the movement in the stock can be attributed to market speculations. The rising crude oil price has lifted hopes in economic recovery, which could result in higher demand for motor vehicles.

The shares started trading at Sh17.90 and moved up to an intraday high of Sh18.75 before giving up some of the gains to settle at Sh8.40. Over the last one year, Sasini shares have traded in the range of Sh14 and Sh23.25. About 15,100 Sasini Tea and Coffee Ltd (NSE:SASN) shares were traded on Friday, compared with the daily average of 29,137 shares.
Sasini Tea and Coffee Ltd (NSE:SASN) paid an annual dividend of 25 cents in FY2015, same as FY2014.
